The Empty Bowl Event returns to CHS on April 16th!

The Empty Bowls Project is an international project with the goal of feeding those in need.  The Coronado High School chapter has a goal of raising $30,000 in just two hours this year.  That will provide well over 100,000 meals right here in San Diego!

More information here from the Empty Bowls Website:

“Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight …Potters and other craftspeople, educators and others work with the community to create handcrafted bowls. Guests are invited to a simple meal of soup and bread. In exchange for a cash donation, guests are asked to keep a bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. The money raised is donated to an organization working to end hunger and food insecurity.”
