Ed2Go Online Classes
Online Short Courses & Certificate Programs
Coronado Adult Education, In parthership with ed2go, offers online open enrollment programs designed to provide the skills necessary to achieve your personal and professional goals.
How to Get Started
In order to register for an online short course or career training program, you will be taken to Coronado's ed2go site (there are two different sites, each takes you away from CUSD's website):
- For online fundamental short courses, visit our Online Instruction Center.
- For online advanced career training programs, visit our Online Instruction Center Training Program site.
You can view courses multiple ways!
- "Featured Courses" are ones the Coronado Adult Ed staff has chosen based on what we think you might like
- "Popular Courses" are ones that are frequently chosen throughout all of ed2go's partner sites
- "New Courses" are newly offered from ed2go
- "Course Categories" breaks down the different industries and takes you to the list of course titles
- Or you can click the "Courses" dropdown, choose the industry (such as "Health and Fitness") and course title you are interested in (such as "Veterinary").
No matter which of the views you chose, you will get to the course page. On the left, you will see filter options. If you are in the short courses site, you will see options such as "learning style," "categories," "price," and "course hours." If you are in the career training programs site, you will just see industry categories.
Within both sites, click on the course title to see details, requirements, and a link to start the payment process.
Once you have chosen your course (and session date if applicable), click "Add to Cart" and follow the instructions to enroll and pay for your course. NOTE: You will need to create an account if you have not done so already. Ed2go uses a unique username and password from your CUSD account information if you have taken adult education courses with us before.
When your course starts, return to our Online Instruction Center and click the "My Classroom" link at the top. To begin your studies, simply log in with your e-mail and the password you selected during enrollment.
Depending on the course, you may be able to start as soon as you choose and pay for a class. Other courses may have a set start date, though a new section will be starting in less than 1 month! Check the course information for details.
All courses require Internet access, e-mail, and either a PC, Mac, or Chromebook. Software requirements are:
- PC - Windows 8 or later
- Mac - macOS 10.6 or later
- Browser - the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox is preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
- If you are learning a specific software, you will be required to have access through a separate purchase (NOTE: many products offer free trial versions). Some courses may have additional requirements. Please thoroughly read through the requirements list for details BEFORE signing up for the course.
Financial Assistance
Full payment via credit card is due at the time of registration.
Financial assistance may be available. To learn more, visit ed2go's Financial Assistance page. At this time, Coronado Adult Ed is not offering assistance through military tuition assistance, MyCAA, WIOA, or Vocational Rehabilitation. As courses are not-for-credit, the courses are not FAFSA eligible.
Questions and Support
There is a Q&A page, called "Help" under Resources. Here you will find answers about the different types of courses, how to get help after enrolling, course expectations, certificates, and more.
