SPRING 2025
Courses for anyone who wants to work with children:
- Child Growth & Development (online)
This semester's course focuses on theories of physical, psychosocial, and cognitive development of children from conception through adolescence. This course is now articulated with Southwestern College's CD170 course!
- K-12 Instructional Assistant Training Course (online)
Whether you want to start your education career or already have a job, this introductory 3-hour course will provide behavioral support strategies (the foundation for Instructional Assistant success) and resources you can use throughout the school year. Your instructor, Nora Menzies, BCBA, is our RBT instructor.
- K-12 Behavior & Health Support Specialist Training Program
This 6-hour course will give participants practical skills training to help students with higher-need behavior and health concerns. Through integrating modeling and scenario-based situations, learn applicable skills you can use immediately.

RBT Certificate:
To receive a Certificate of Completion for the RBT course, students must:
- Attend all 40 hours of the course
- Regularly participate in class
- Complete all assignments
Child Development Certificate:
To receive a Certificate of Completion for the CD course, students must:
- Attend at least 80% of the course
- Regularly participate in all classes
- Complete all assignments
